Hello! My name is Mrs. "d" for da Silva. My full surname is "Pinheiro da Silva" which means pine tree of the forest. I am guessing that my husband's ancestors lived near a pine forest. I have heard that Jews from Portugal changed their surnames to ones related to the landscape around them, so they wouldn't be as easily identified as Jews. I have been looking for a good romance to recommend to a student who says she doesn't finish books she starts. I used to be like that too, until I found the right book! So before I recommend this book to her, I want to read it myself to make sure it is a good one. So far, it is pretty good--a page turner--though it took me a while to get into. I decided to look it up on YouTube and discovered I could listen to so
